I have tried to use this iron several times since my purchase. I even sent it back to Redfern and they checked it over and said it was working properly. So I guess if instead of steam you want wet fabric it is working properly. And if you don't mind getting your hand overheated if you use for any length of time then it is working properly.

I feel I threw my $200.00 in the trash for all the service I have gotten out of this iron.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

i WOULD HAVE LIKED TO KNOW THAT IT IS NOT A GOOD PRODUCT. PROVES TO ME NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING AT A SHOW BEFORE CHECKING REVIEWS.

I agree - so sorry I bought mine - got it at a quilt show - it leaks, never know when to add water, using steam up really quickly - only good point was the one and off switch..sigh!

I totally agree that the handle gets very warm - for me, I can deal with it because I use the iron for my quilting projects so don't hold it for long periods of time. You do have to wait for the fresh water to heat up before you get steam again.

Will write my own full review. Claudia

WITH EURO STEAM YOU HAVE TO LET THE WATER HEAT TO MAKE STEAM. IF YOU GET YOUR HANDS OVERHEATED THEN YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. THIS PRODUCTS EXCEEDS EXPECTATION.
