“The kymco is a fanstanstic reliable little scooter,...”

The kymco is a fanstanstic reliable little scooter, overall haven't had any real problems with it except for the rear mud guard coming off, and the exhaust muffler comming loose.

Travelled 250 miles each way to my sister's and back on the A1 non stop, and it performed without any problems, except for the need to fill up 3 times on the way.

The kymco is incredibly light and pulls well, even on very steep roads with no lack in performance. Basically the torque is fastastic but the top speed is around 65 mph amd it begins to vibrate and scream and seems to want to nudge a little faster.

I've been everywhere with this bike, camping, long distance travel and it seems capable of doing anything and going anywhere, it keeps up with traffic on all A roads.

It is also delightfully comfortable, you would have to be riding for 6 hours or more before you begin to notice any real leg and back ache.

But for performance it is very quick off the mark, great torque and a top speed matched by most 125's, I fail to see why there is a need to ride a geared bike when the agility gets you to top speed quickly and wthout the drama.

The only minor issue I have is the 1 gallon fuel tank, and I am forced to visit the fuel station once a week on work commutes and an immediate fill up after 70 miles. Even with the increase in fuel it is still much more affordable than public transport, £7 wil fill you up to the very top and allow you to go anywhere at 1.32 GBP per litre.

The seat space allows me to fit my helmet and gloves easily, much better than carrying my helmet everywhere which used to be the norm. So the 1 gallon tank as annoyying as it is, is very usefull.

The suspension and wheels don't cope with bumps well, and it is best to avoid pot holes as this could easily damage yor tyre and cause an accident.

A great bike which will get you anywhere no problem, will buy another one after my current.
