Dr Jayaratne Doctors Surgery, Addiscombe Road, Croydon Review

Never have I seen the NHS in such a mess. My family moved to Shirley over a year ago. We registered with this surgery as it was close by, and thought that it would benefit us. After filling out the forms in order to change from our previous surgery, I was told that they had recieved my records. Out of the 4 of us, they only managed to find my records. Months after chasing them up about it, my sister finally got her records transferred over.



What makes me really angry is the fact that my parents, one of whom needs to see the doctor regulary, has no records at the surgery after OVER A YEAR. We have been patient enough, but now they are taking the mickey. My mum had to see a doctor, and they spent all of 2 mins with her, after weeks of her waiting. That in itself isn't right, but what is worse is that she was not examined properly. Since then we have complained, and been told that the doctor who saw her is being questioned, and that this is a serious issue.



My advise...stay well clear, they are clearly incompetent.
