“Firstly a big thank you to all of the previous reviews...”

Firstly a big thank you to all of the previous reviews that helped me to choose the Busa. I have to agree with pretty much all of the comments people have made.

I had never ridden one and have been riding a GSXR 750 for the last 3 years. I was a bit nervous collecting the Busa as I was expecting it to be some kind of unrideable beast but the thing that amazed me on my ride home was how smooth it is. Yes it has stacks and stacks of power, but the delivery of that power is spot on. I live near very twisty, windy coastal roads and in my opinion (at a moderate speed) the busa handles better than my old GSXR 750 in that it just feels more stable and not as twitchy! No doubt a good rider on a GSXR 750/1000 would get round the twisties faster but for anyone wanting to ride at a reasonably fast pace the Busa is perfect and I felt I went faster round the bends because of the confidence I had with the bike not being so twitchy and just feeling more planted. On the motorway when I opened it up....wow! It goes and keeps going but offers much more wind protection than I am used to and I instantly felt that I could blast up and down the motorways all day with no problems.

Very comfy riding position which is great for me after a broken wrist from a bike accident a few years ago, long riding on the GSXR caused me grief but so far I have not had any problems on the Hayabusa.

Can't comment on reliability / tires yet but I have gone 2 up and I swear, I did not even notice my other half was on the bike, no loss of performance at all and again much more stable feeling in the corners. She loved being on it due to the nice wide comfy pillion seat!

To sum up, if you want a track bike get something else. If you want a bike that is immensley powerful but at the same time strangely civilised, a good ride solo or 2 up and just as much fun blasting through corners, touring or eating miles up a motorway....the Busa is by far the best bike I have ever ridden and I would recommend without hesitation
