im thinking of buying this car and looking at reviews it looks good, but i cant seem to work air con the dealer said it was charged up but not coming through cold enough ?? is this a common fault or needs attention!!?

It's a fuse, it's not marked as for the AC, it's the one marked as the heated washer jets. Check the jets first!
