I have not been to The Cottage since it changed ownership and was worried by the negative reviews. I was in a party of eight celebrating a friend's 60th birthday. We went for Sunday lunch and I found it much the same as it always was. The 3 couse £25 menu had plenty of choice and the food was delicious. The restaurant was busy and there was a good atmosphere. The service was friendly and professional. I would say do not be put off by the negative reviews - give it a go. We all had a lovely lunch and will be back
