The Peninsula Hong Kong; by reading newspaper and found that they have been awarded The 2010 Gallivanter's Awards for Excellence - 20th Annual Reader Poll Best City Hotel Worldwide The Peninsula Hong Kong - No.2 (Best in Asia) ...

But I have a total different view and experience, remember back in 2001 my family and I went for high tea after a hard day of shopping. We have ordered pastries and fruit punches. Surprisingly, the waiter was giving us a "6 Stars" service by tossing things around when serving; which left us speechless. When asked him why he had to do that? He just simply "Couldn't see you" and walked away.

Therefore we call for the caption, and nothing much different with his attitude. Anyhow, we just didn't want to spoil the day, and just want to continue our trip.

Before we leave, we were just simply trying to take a picture together in the lobby of this "luxury hotel", and the aftershock came. The security personnel were waning us not to take pictures in their propriety with an attitude. With the so call follow up complain by email was nothing more than they cannot find any problem in the incident. Wow speechless!

Conclusion: If you are not Rich & Famous or non-Caucasian, you will not get the right treatment in The Peninsula hotels.

Suggestion: Go the McDonald for high tea.
