When I bought this kettle I thought I was helping the enviroment. The kettle boils longer than required. If lid is not properly clicked down will pour out cold water with hot water. Does not hold enough water to fill teapot if required. You have to be ready to use boiled water immediatly as cold tank cools down water very quickly. Don't buy, wish I hadn't.
