I bought a Dawes Espoir 3000 for my 8 year old son from Ash Cycles - his first racing bike! The price was fantastic; £30 less than ebay and a whopping £112 less than 'Chainreaction'.



The communications from Ash cycles was also very good, and the parcel was sent via a trackable 24 hour courier.



The bike itself is good for the price: a decent aluminium frame (the welds and paint finsh are surprisingly neat and tidy), combined with reasonable parts (Shimano 2300 STI levers look good), with quick-release wheels. The pedals and saddle aren't brilliant, but they're parts I'd probably look to upgrade or change anyway - they certainly wouldn't put me off buying it.



Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and happy to recommend Ash Cycles!
