One small detail which I did not like during the internet booking of the car rental was, that it was always my intention to return the rented car at a different location. I was not informed thaere would be an extra charge for such a privilege (even though the rental company has depots at both the pick up and drop off locations) until after I had gone through the whole process and confirmed my instructions to proceed with the booking. These "hidden" extras should be clearly expressed during the booking process at a much earlier stage.

rentalcars.com cheating my money, they do not have cars for me even I pay in adavance, they also do not refund my money.

Agree with above. Our apparently economical care hire ended up on almost 3 times the cost we had paid at the online booking stage

I agree with this, same applies to optional extras which you can select at time of booking but you don't have any idea how much they are going to cost.

I found this review helpful because...We are also dropping off in different location and would be looking out for the extra charge. Also found I had to phone to find out extra driver charge, but even so they were £100 cheaper than Economy Cars for a long duration rent. They snootily informed me they do not price match!

had the same problem and then used www.carhire3000.ie.
they even called to inquire if the drop-off charge that occurs was ok and if i would still endorse the rental. so all good.
