“I cannot even give the sun bingo 1 star for rating....”

I cannot even give the sun bingo 1 star for rating. The way they have treated my situation is disgusting. DO NOT JOIN SUN BINGO SITE!!!

Firstly, unfortunately I have a problem with gambling and after 10 months off of it I fell back into the temptation. I don't disagree with people who gamble and only wish I could play within my means. Also, this rant is not about being upset at how much money I have lost or trying to blam as it is only I that deposits the money no one else.

I do however have to say how disgraced I am at the sun bingo website. After spending £620 on their site ( on fruit machine type games) I luckily had a win of around £210. After starting to come back to earth and realising what I had done I decided to withdraw £190.00 which was confirmed and accepted by the site. I then played the left overes which was part bonus and part funds. This is a month ago now. I then closed my account (following their proceedures to do so) and confirmed that I am owed £190.00 to go back into my account.

I ended up receiving an email confirming that I will get the money within 3- 5 working days and account now closed.

That was fine by me - I have done this enough times to know how it rolls.

5 working days went by - no money transfer. So I emailed the customer services. They then came back with this money cannot be transferred to my bank account (which they took £620.00 from 3 days after depositing) and that I must be sent a cheque and it will take 10 working days. I emailed back complaining as I have never heard of such thing just because I closed the account. If it were a larger amount of money I would understand.

10 days went by... no cheque. I was appauled. I emailed again (no way was I going to call a premium rate phone line to request back money that is leagally mine!) and I soon recevied an emailing saying the situation was sitting with their finance dept (massive amount of rubbish!) and that I would now recevied the money into my account 3 -5 working days.

SO because they had all of a sudden said it will go straight to my account I thought ok, makes like easier I'll have to wait.

As you can imagine - no sign of my money from them.

So I emailed demanding to be called with urgent response to my request and I soon had a nice lady on the phone saying how sorry she was and that £190.00 would be in my account by Weds9th Feb 11. I asked why the delay and there was no real answer other than the refund had to be approved. Throughout all communications I keep asking why is it getting classed as a refund? It's isn't a refund it is quite simply a win of £190.00. I have not been given an answer to that.

Anyway - a miracle ... or so I thought. I checked my bank account online this evening and it looked like money had gone in. So I checked and yes it had... lovely... £170.00 all in separate installments. I thought I wonder why only £170.00 and not a straight £190.00 transfer? It had been confirmed all along that is my owed amount £190.00!

I emailed a nice message to their terrible customer services to ask and half expected that it would just go in tomorrow or perhaps weds like origionally planned. However they are now claiming that £20.00 was a bonus and will not be transferred. I know for a fact I still had part bonus in my account after withdrawing my £190.00 which was accepted and confirmed by their site as the total I would receive!

I have emailed back again saying how disgusting it is that I would never even have been told this unless again I chased up. I want proof also because I rememeber what funds were used and left and bonus'.

It may only be £20.00 but that is a lot for me who is now trying to get back to normal again. I would never try and do any company or anyone out of money - even though I have a gambling issue there is no way I would ever conn anyone.

The Sun and News of the World bingo websites are a total con and they do not in any way support those who wish to close their account and withdraw outstanding funds. They may promote that they help those with gambling issues too but they really have no care.

I strongly advise staying away from this site. Although I am basically barred from most sites because of my illness that is my own doing and there sre some great sites out there for those who can enjoy gambling as a bit of fun:

Tombola is great and has great reviews.

Mecca site

gala

foxy

Kerching

Sky bet

All site who have greast games, good payouts and will not in any way do you over.
