Good Points
Well, it's a washing machine...

Bad Points
Bearings have failed after 17 months. Machine has always been very noisy!

General Comments
Tried to discuss with Hotpoint. Failed!



Customer service put me thorugh to service dept. who told me I would have to go back to Customer Service....but they could not put me back entailing more calls and lots more time listening to their wretched call wait muzac.



I suspect that the cost of trying to talk to Hotpoint even at local call rates may be more than the cost of a replacement machine!



After several laps I lost patience and asked for a supervisor to contact me. This was promised by

customer service representative.



No one has bothered to contact me.



Am now planning to park the machine in a trailer outside a local retail park with a 'free to good' home sign along with printed explanations as to why it is being junked!



On the basis of this experience it seems a case of bad product- bad service.
