Satmap Active 10 Review

Absolutely THE BEST bit of handheld GPS kit you can buy. Nothing else even comes close.



I use it on the Scottish mountains and have trekked for many, many miles using it - clear weather, whiteouts, hill fog, valleys, mountain tops, woods - the Satmap pinpoints your location and overlays it on Ordnance Survey maps on or in all of them.



And never mind 'showing it the sky' - it doesn't need to see the sky after it locks onto a satellite. You can shove it into your rucksack and forget about it until you need it. In fact the only downside I've been able to find with a Satmap is me forgetting to turn the trail off and the trail ends up covering an extra hundred miles *from inside the BOOT OF THE CAR!*
