It is the thought behind it. By the look of the season,it is the same flower while on the other hand, it signify the thought about gender. The colour of it shows its importance to a man and not to a woman. If I give a Blue dafoldil to my wife, she may reject it at first instance because it neither signify gender or season.

However, it will not matter if it is given by a woman to a woman. It could be used with other assorted flowers.

The florists are in better position to make judgement of what goes with what. My candid opinion is that, change is a permanent feature of our life. Better still, I like to make some changes in the way I live.
