I cannot believe what has just happened to me. I applied for a loan on Monday. I received 2 very prompt responses - one saying thanks for my application and outlining next steps and the next telling me that my loan had been agreed in principle and all the paperwork was in the post. Then, totally unespectedly 2 days later I have been turned down. Surely this is a case for the Banking Ombudsman. Why tell me a loan had been agreed in principle and then backtrack?



I would never use Tesco again.
