Candy Free Standing Chest Freezer Review

I guess you get what you pay for, but unfortunately with something like a freezer its pretty important that it actually works.



We had this freezer for a little over 2 years and it stopped working in 'normal' mode, it only works in fast freeze (which Im assuming is horrendously expensive to run).



So, we lost the entire contents of our freezer whilst it decided to stop working on normal mode, which was incredibly annoying and costly.



Based on the fact that the one thing you want a freezer to do is, er, freeze and this has failed on that rather basic requirement, I certainly would not recommend this product to anyone.



We're going to invest in a much more expensive Leibherr freezer I think - the reason being Id rather pay a bit more for something that isnt going to fail. Plus with the Leibherr, if it does fail it has an alarm that alerts you (which would have been so handy when our Candy freezer defrosted!) plus it keeps your food frozen for up to 43 hours without power.
