Strawberry Duck, Entwistle Review

Went here a couple of months ago and was very disappointed then. The owner Adam has very good restaurants so thought we'd give the place another go over the new year. Wish we hadn't bothered it was a poor experience with average food. Didn't start well when I was ignored by the four bar staff who carried on talking for a good couple of minutes before I asked them if they were serving me or not , only then did they acknowledged me. I was then served by one of the most miserable bar staff i've ever come across (older lady of the staff). We then waited for over an hour for the food, they mixed the order up for our friends who were then subjected to a rude conversation with the manager as to why they had the wrong table number ( because they got it wrong - which they finally accepted!). The food was average, not bad but very much average. I ordered some ore drinks and asked about one of the guest ales the bar staff had no idea who made it (only the name was written on paper stuck to the pump!). Most of the staff were rude - probably influenced by the manager however one waiter was very good but the rest terrible. Come on Strawberry Duck get it sorted!!!
