Darmah's review of Chez Gerard Brasserie, Manchester & London

“Myself and three friends dined at Brasserie Gerrard in...”

★★☆☆☆

written by Darmah on 27/12/2010

Myself and three friends dined at Brasserie Gerrard in Albert Square Manchester just before Christmas. The experience was disappointing. It was very cold in the restaurant, the service was slow, and when the staff made mistakes with our orders they seemed to think it was our fault and made no apology. A couple of my friends thought that the food (main courses) was fine, but one thought the quality very poor, as did I. I had boeuf bourguignon and it tasted of very little but salt. I suspect it had been warmed up or kept warm for quite some time. I won't be visiting Brasserie Gerrard again.
