These guys are a bit arrogant and I would say rude.

I booked a course and then (because really they're sort of in the middle of nowhere was late. If you're late they turn you away. Fine. But then they charge you the entire cost OVER AGAIN, when you want to re-book. Not even a 10% discount! Basically, I think they count on people not showing up so they can skin people. If you negotiate they treat you quite badly. Shame on them. If this is any indication of how they approach clients in general then I recommend you go elsewhere.

I totally agree with with you. The instructor was very aggrogant. He got encouraged me (greedy for money?) to do my CBT, theory test and A2 test all in 3 weeks, even though I had never been on a motorbike (I ended up failing my A2 test, what a surprise). For our CBT he took us around the motor cyle shops in the near by areas, conversed with the people in the shop for a lengthy period of time, pretty much showing us he was a man who has contacts in the motorcyling world. He made many put downs comments all of the other men and I who where learning. One of which were how we 'are not natural riders', 'you'll be lucky to pass the way you ride' and he 'passed when he was 18' bla, bla, bla, blar, all this after he got our money! He made negative comments about 'Academy Motorcycle Training' their rivals for no reason (I actually went to them after waisting my money at '1 Stop' and they were brilliant at teaching, ironic). All in all poor advice was given, I felt uncomfortable and angry, ripped off. That's just my honest experience.

I agree with the comment about the instructor being 'arrogant'. The bald ethnic instructor with a crash injury scar to his eye. He made many put down comments to the other ethnic trainee and myself, how 'you are not a natural rider', 'you'll be lucky to pass', 'you can't ride'. For our CBT he took us to the nearby motorcycle shops and spent time talking to the staff there, explaining to us how he 'knows a lot of people around here and in the motorcycling community', 'how he passed at 18 years old', bla, bla, blah. I was duped into doing my CBT and A2 test with '1 stop' within 3 weeks after speaking to this instructor and stupidly paid upfront. Bad advice. Too greedy for money. I didn't pass anything, the CBT 'failed due to poor clutch control' and the A2 test down to inexperience (no surprise). After failing, I asked about 'Academy motorcycing training' and he was very negative about them. He wanted me to retake my CBT with '1 Stop', but I instead went to 'Academy motorcycle training' after two days of failing and passed because I was trained on how to correct my errors by their instructor. I felt ripped off, uncomfortable/angry after my experience with '1 Stop'. My advice to the instructor is 'Stop' and think about how you are going to help and train people '1'st.

Wow, I didn't know bike schools could hire such rude people. If you don't mind me asking, which center did you use i.e. what local area.
