Six months ago I was drowning in a sea of debt. I didn't know what to do or who to turn to for help, and I am sure that I was heading for a nervous breakdown. The phone never stopped ringing and every morning the postman delivered the post and it landed on the doormat with a sickening thud. I know that I have been irresponsible with money, but that is my only crime. As soon as I realised that I was in trouble, it seemed to be too late. And all my efforts to contact my creditors and try to set up a payment arrangement, were to no avail. My creditors were relentless and bombarded me with phone calls and nasty letters. And then I found debtline. They were the answer to my prayers. They were fantastic, and still are. Debtline didn't judge me, they helped me. As soon as they set up my debt management plan, my creditors seemed to back off,and I felt so much better and more able to cope and come to terms with my problems. All of my account managers have been helpful, friendly, and informative. They helped me through the initial teething problems of setting up a debt management plan, and have always been warm and friendly people to talk to. I have spoken to several of my account managers, Andy, Ben, and Hannah, who have always helped me sort out any problems along the way. The last person I talked to a couple of days ago was Thomas. He immediately contacted a debt collection agency on my behalf, who were hastling me for more money. He quickly faxed documents to them and spoke to one of their managers. He then phoned me back immediately to let me know that everything was sorted.
