Yamaha FZS600 Fazer 600 Review

The Fazer 600 is the best bike by far that I have ever owned.

My engine is silky smooth with a tingle around 7000rpm

8000rpm is as high as I ever go, and then not often.

Insurance is ridiculously cheap. (3rd party) I am old.

The bike is rock solid and the clutch gearbox operation is superb.

Clonks into bottom when stationary.



I still have the original exhauste.

In fact since 1996 I have owned 2 Diversions (600) and the Fazer and never replaced an exaust/battey.

Miraculous really coz I dont do many miles.

The only criticisms I have are..

(1) Windshield create turbulence. True of all bikes.

Yes it is dont argue. I have lowered my screen and the turbulance has gone.

(2)The seat had a pronounced forward slope

I eventually decided to pack some foam underneath and now have a quite good riding position

All I hve done re maintenance is change the oil/filter every 2/2.5 K miles.

I use cheapish oil.



All in all a superb bike.
