China Mieville Perdido Street Station Review

You know when you finish a paperback and give it to a friend or put it in the book rack at work... well this isn't one of those. It's one of those books that you will put on your self and vow to keep it as it has just blown you away......

Sci-Fi/Fantasy authors are by their nature inventive and creative - but Mieville is in a league of his own. It's brilliantly thought out, creepy, funny, breathtaking and strange in one package. It's Sci-Fi meets Fantasy meets Thriller meets Fairy Tale. Strange but good.

My only regret with this review is that the scale stops at 5 - it deserves higher. If you have even a passing interest in this genre - read it!
