recently had an accident that was my fault hit someone in rear at low speed, causing enough damage to both cars to make a claim.



Even though the driver hesitated and braked sharply because i went int he back of him swiftcover told me they were not prepared to fight a claim they couldnt win, i had no choice but to accept this.



had the accident on the friday, and they collected the car on the monday. because the customer services/garages are only open sat am, can only assume thats why didnt pick up til monday.

Made claim for free over phone speaking to uk person, who said they email me to confirm details and be in touch to collect car and said they would fax details to garage and advised me who theyd be using.



They called me first thing 0930 monday morning and also replied to my email that i sent over the weekend, said they call the garage there and then and get them to call me back. as soon as i put the phone down literally seconds the garage were calling me and arranged for my car to be collected.

garage have had my car for 10 days now for a light frontal fix, and was due to get back today but they said vw have sent the wront grille a mk5 instaed of mk5. getting the correct one delivered today and will need to spray and then fit bumper etc so should be ready tomorrow 11 days and will call me to arrange drop off of car. car will be valeted and washed.

garage was the same one who direct line use.

pleasing thing is that parts were coming from vw dealer and not replica parts, but beware in the terms they do say they might use none genuine parts, and also if you use your choice of repairer which comes to more than theirs they may pay you cash value of what it cost them.

overall good service but cant comment on repair of car yet as not had it back yet.

will follow up comments when i get it.

repair is guaranteed for 5 years.
