I have had model rsh1nhmh for approx 3 years - last year, it started to lose temperature and I wouldnt let me change the settings. I found that if I manually defrosted (yes, this is supposed to be a frost free model!) it worked ok for a month or two but then the problem returned. I defrosted it again in August this year. It was OK for a while but then in October it started to make a loud noise and also some funny "cracking" sounds so I guessed that there was ice build up again. Sure enough, on emptying the fridge freezer there is a massive build up of ice in the fridge compartment. I have seen other comments on this site and it appears that this is a common problem. I paid over £600 for this fridge and do not feel that I should now be looking at a heavy price for replacement parts, even if I can get hubs to do-it-himself. Very poor model and design and I certainly would no recommend.
