I just used the welcomeback 10 coupon code which gave $10 and free shipping with no minimum purchase. The coupon expired 10/25/10. This is what I received. One K and Bros Italian watch of good quality and stainless steel and Italian leather strap. Suggested retail of $120 on bidz for only $12. This same watch is advertised on Amazon.com for $85. The watch is classified as oversize 1 which charges $31.99 for shipping. I also bought a pair of 10k created emerald and topaz earrings weighing 1.1 grams for $13, bidz.com compare price of $280 which is way off. The earrings would retail about $40. I also received for $5 each garnet/diamond/silver earrings and a created emerald/diamond silver necklace. My total for the 4 items came to $35.00 plus the transaction fee of 0.75. The shipping charges were $31.99 plus $1.50 for each of the jewellry items. Since the coupon code was for $10 off and free shipping I only paid $25.75 for my package to be delivered to Canada via Fedex. I received all my items for less than the price for the shipping of the watch. I paid on the Monday and my items were pulled on Wednesday and I received my package the Friday of the same week. I really like the watch it is very good quality and is a watch that would retail for $100 easily. The jewellry pieces are all as described and of good quality as well. None of the stones are missing or damaged and all the items look just like the photos. I have had problems in the past with items from bidz.com not being as described and have not shopped there for about a year. I am very happy with my purchase this time around, and can't believe how little I paid. I will continue to shop at bidz, but only when I can get coupon codes for free shipping. The shipping is really what costs a lot and Canadians also pay customs and GST on purchases that go through customs. Canada charges duty on jewellry over $20, but when you are close to the $20 they don't charge customs just GST. So I only had to pay $1.77 in GST and no charges for customs. If I would have spent more I would have also paid customs fees which can be high as the delivery agents charge a brokerage fee for collecting customs monies.
