Siemens ME45 Review

Good Points
This is a great phone. Earlier software versions had probs with saving business cards but this is corrected. My phone is now on Version 21. this version comes with 1 additional game plus 25 additional text message memory locations plus text message up to 760 characters long!!!. This phone is great the address book PIM holds 500 entries with 14 fields, a complete contact book which can be synchronized with MS Outlook. Its fexible memory with 348Kb flexible memory holds lots of bitmaps,ringtones, archives sms messages and voice recordings. When i bragged to my brother that the phone was waterproof, he took it and dropped it in a full glass of water!! hehe , no problem!. its sleek and lightweight. battery life is 3 days. It has a very flexible menu for setting up your own choices in the 1-9 keypad plus personal favorites plus voice command, a really big help in personalizing your phone. Its Operator logo AND screensaver may be replaced with your own personal 102x48 pix bitmap. The light is a nice amber which makes reading very easy. And you can shut of illumination during the daytime to save on battery. The composer is easy to use and understand, I can even compose using the Nokia ringtone sheets as guide!. Here in the Philippines the price of the ME 45 has actually gone up since last christmas! Also, you seldom find people selling their ME 45's, this phone is to keep and use! Keep up the good work Siemens!!

Bad Points
would have been nice if its had a hole for attaching a wristband or clip to secure the phone when walking in crowds.

General Comments
Although earlier software versions on the Siemens ME45 mobile phone may have had bugs, it is refreshing that Siemens has come out quickly with software updates that not only fixed the bugs but added on some very helpful features. In version 21 I got an extra game, 25 more text message memory locations and txt messages up to 760 characters long.
