Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park, Sussex Review

We were so disapointed with the Winchelsea Sands Holiday site. The caravan was filthy yet we had to wait for it to be cleaned. It was very moldy, black mould on walls, curtains, around the sink and shower which we did'nt use but mold was in the air and after two nights of a husband not being able to breath because of it we went home - stinking of damp. The cultery hadn't been washed properly so we bought plastic plates and cutlery from the shop next to the site. The staff there were polite and the shop was well stocked and clean.



The club house on site was very poor and dirty - entertainment was something of a joke and not in a funny way! You were OK if you liked to play Bingo with three other people!



The beach is near by. Winchelsea, Hastings and Rye are a small car drive and all worth a visit.



The site vans stand out a mile...all looked grotty. Go to Camber Park Resort for a family holiday which caters for all family. Winchelsea Sands doesn't do this nor seem to care that it doesn't! It makes its money from ground rents not holidays.
