I hade a previous Ebac dehumidifier for over 10 years which gave excellent service, so when it finally failed I decided that Ebac would be my preferred manufacturer. What a mistake, the unit has been replaced twice, and had now totally failed, its very noisy, and does not live upto my pervious experience of Ebac products. The customer service from Ebac was very poor, I don't know what has happened to this market leader but it no longer holds the No1 position in the dehumidifier market in my opinion. AVOID this product.
