Haven Holidays, Devon Cliffs Review

Stayed at this park for 14nights 10th Sept, not impressed with this FLAGSHIP resort! Accommodation was Platinum and not value for money, warning this caravan comes with a 16inch tv, WOW! Caravan was not as clean as you would expect, everything required another clean by ourselves. No battery in the CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR, staff didn't seem unpeturbed by this fact and went to see whether or not they could give me a battery, certainly no importance on this HEALTH AND SAFETY issue. The main amusement area very noisey. Too many dogs on site for my comfort, some of which ran freely and unmuzzled. Beach not the standard I expected, too much seaweed and although I can understand the ecological issues regarding this at times it was around a 10ft deep drift which came and went with the tide changes, overall it gave the beach a 'dirty' impression. VERY VERY hilly. Unsatisfactory signage to the site from the main roads. On the whole would not chose to visit this site again or recommend Devon Cliffs to others. This is supposed to be a FLAGSHIP resort but does not meet this expectation.
