The hotel was well located with the busses and horsetrams leaving from outside the hotel. The main town was just behind the hotel whilst the ferry terminal and the bus and train stations were within walking distance. but the rooms were not up to standard and the staff, especially those on the reception were cold and unfriendly. it is officially a 3 star rated hotel and although it is currently being refurbished it needs more than just a couple of new carpets and a coat of paint.
