Do not get a M&S credit card if you intend to use it abroad or for internet transactions. Every time I go abroad my card is declined. Imagine then, the hassle of trying to get the card reinstated whilst out of the country. At best it takes 48 hours! The same occurs on-line. Despite my obvious spending patterns, the security software constantly blocks my card and I have the inconvenience of getting it reinstated.
Customer Service is based out of India. It's very poor and they cannot reinstate your card immediately
I do not recommend this card to anyone - unless you only make in-shop retail purchases in the UK.
