Parkdean Holidays, Torquay Holiday Park Review

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the parkdean holiday park in Torquay. We arrived at the park and was greeted by extremely friendly staff. A good start, so we thought. We then carried on to our caravan, which was down an extremley steep hill, not so bad for us but for families with push chairs/ young children not so appropriate. We arrived at our caravan (riviera) which we We were initially impressed with the caravan until we noticed the ants all around the kitchen area. It was disgusting. We were unable to buy food to eat in our caravan as when we did, we would find ants in it, therefore leaving us to eat out our whole stay which became very pricey. Also the caravan got extremly hot and stuffy, and considering you can't really leave your windows open when you go out was a bit of a pain. It also stated that our caravan would be provided with a hair dryer which it wasn't, and if you wanted to hire one was extremley pricey. As we were relying on this it was very annoying. All the cutlery we were provided with was dirty and unwashed, I wouldn't of let a dog eat off of the plates. All this was extremley disappointing as the staff were extremley friendly and welcoming. We shall not be returning
