I bought this projector in 2004, I do not use it every day and have still
50% bulb life left !!!. I use it on theatre black and that has help extend the life of the bulb. It is a great projector the only downsides are the
"Fly wire effect" of the single LCD & now-adays the maximum resolution eqaul to PAL SD. Other than that it displays a very large picture from a small distance. It is great to watch documentaries on like "Adventure in Architecture" of Dan Cruickshank, it really does place you there at the scene, space scenes are wonderfull too. I figure that cinema screens are not HI def any way and actually resolution is secondary to other factors like brightness etc !!! All in all it made/makes an absolutely GEAT CINEMA EXPERIENCE 5STARS ***** (out of 5)
