Hamilton Insurance Accident/Sickness & Unemployment Review

Do not purchase insurance from Hamilton. In the event of a claim they will refuse to pay out and use delaying tactics in the hope that you will give up and go away. I was involved in a car accident 6 months ago, couldn't work for 2 months and am still fighting to have my income protection insurance paid out. I'm self employed and had no income whatsoever during my time off. They have refused to deal with me by phone, refused to return calls, refused to acknowledge letters, passed me around three different companies associated with them (using 7 different addresses and an unbelievable different amount of phone numbers). Only when I contacted the financial ombudsman last month did they send a letter saying my claim had been allowed. Got another letter today though asking for the same information that I sent with my original claim form six months ago. Back at the first step again but I'm not giving in. Please, please do not give your money to these people.
