BullGuard 5.0 Internet Security Suite Review

As a software support & development manager, I've installed a selection of most of the common anti-virus programs, one onto each of our testbed machines, checking how our software works with each.



There really is not a great deal to choose between all of them in terms of ease of use and setup. Support for when something goes wrong is another matter - and in this respect Bullguard stands head and shoulders above the rest. Live chat, emails that are responded to promptly, knowledgeably and in simple plain English. This is the only one I now recommend to friends and family. My 80 yr old mother is happy with it, which is a fair test! The on-line backup also works - as a recent HDD failure demonstrated. Back up and running on another machine within 10 minutes much to my relief. Their biggest downside - Not a recognised household name as rarely is pre-installed on new kit.
