This is a fantastic machine for as long as it works ok. During its two year life the capacity of the hard drive has slowly but steadily reduced so that it is now full and can not record any more when showing only 33% full. I assumed that reformating the hard drive would solve this but I was informed by Humax in 2009 that a new software release would be required to fix this known problem but that they had no date set for its release.
I have contacted them since several times and have had absolutely no response.
I have also experienced the same EPG problems reported by others online since the recent freeview retuning. The EPG just doesnt work properly amy more.
Very dissapointed with Humax after sales service.
