Island Cruises, Island Escape Review

Set off from Tenerife great - entertainment excellent - gran canaria fantastic - then storms, missed la palma and morocco - but saw gran canaria twice. excursions great - food excellent - different special every evening, crew and staff all friendly - cleanliness always kept up even though ship is dated and shabby. cabin like a caravan which suited us - 4 of us together and didnt feel claustrophobic. even thoug 2 days at sea and the most horrendous storm leaving lanzarote force 11 gales - (ship broke free of morings and had to leave people behind and sail for safety) . cruise not bad - once found staff could provide sickness tabletts that are so strong work really well!! but beware make you sleepy - so no drinking or staying up late on them! overall the cruise was good value the entertainment exseptional and the captains decisions sound - he did get stick from passengers for not going to ports!
