I would definitely not recommend AMEX Blue. I had that card for 3 years at a 9% APR. I have never missed a payment with AMEX, or with any of my credit card bills, or other loans. AMEX kindly repaid my good credit and responsible living by almost doubling my interest rate. It went from 9% to 17.8%. I wasn't allowed to close my card or opt out either. The rate applied to PAST purchases. Buyer beware...I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
