Problems from the start which just got worse in reading the CD's themselves, only a few went in and read straight away, most took minutes of time before format recognised. Also eject did not work when I got fed up waiting on disk to read. I should have taken it back to Richer Sounds while still in warranty I guess, my fault ...

My last brush with Cambridge was that their designers couldn't design the amplifier input to match the output of their CD players. Without intervention, the CD player output was so high that the amp volume control was stuck near maximum attenuation, messing the balance and everything. In reply to my complaint they offered me an attenuator kit to plug in the amp input. Cost about £50/pair. My thoughts have always been that their designers are incompetent or they're ripping me off with a deal breaker.
