Visited Old Trafford for the first time as an away fan.
At first sight it's a reasonably imposing sight, but close up you see how old a stadium it really is.
Inside there is zero leg room, and you are almost sat on the knee of your neighbour. The concourses outside are far to narrow creating major congestion at half time. Queue's are processed so slowly you have no chance of leaving on h/t whistle, queuing and being back in time for kick off.
The home support is very poor. At times it is so quite it's hard to believe there are 80,000 people in there. Away support nearly always out sing the home 'support'. I guess this is the price you pay for being the ground being half full of tourists and people on corporate jollies.
Food looked reasonable quality and price (remember I didn't get time to sample it), but £42 for an away ticket is outrageous.
Wouldn't bother going again.
