I'm using it with Sony A700.

1. Constant, rough underexposure (-0.7 - -1.6EV) in TTL mode. Can be compensated in the camera, but annoying. Wireless mode, and the internal sensor mode (A) works well. The camera is working fine with the Minolta 5600, so the reason of the underexposure is definitely not in the camera.

2. Bad light pattern. Can be easily noticed when flashing to a smooth surface like an empty wall, or when using the modeling light mode. (Sunpak PZ5000 did much better)

3. Bad plastics, gaps between the elements, bad build quality.

4. Heavy handling. Have to press the 4 stupid buttons too much.

5. Unreliable operation. HSS displayed if I switch on the camera first and then the flash, not displayed if the flash switched on first.

Anyway, it is a great flash, I still like it... But not going to buy another Metz.

The secondary reflector is very useful, and its huge power is more than enough.
