I have had this hopoint EW74P cooker for 18 months during which time I have had 3 faults with it.
Fortunately I bought it at John Lewis and have been covered by there extended warranty of 2 years. John Lewis have been exceptional in helping me deal with Hotpoint.
I have found the service from Hotpoint particularly unhelpful.
On one of the faults, I explained that a particular part was broken and told them the specific part but their engineer called without a spare part and had to come back a second time to fit it!!!!
I will NEVER EVER buy another Hotpoint cooker and NEVER EVER buy any other Hotpoint appliance.
I cannot belive that in just over 18 months there have been 3 faults on a cooker costing almost £500.
