Queens Head Inn, Longford, Gloucester Review

For a place with such a good reputation we were more than disappointed with our visit. Two members of our party were slightly miffed to find that their choices from the limited menu selection were unavailable...one chicken and orange salad because of the lack of oranges...and no steak & kidney pudding at all! What did appear were 2 stringy steaks with COLD chips & 2 bowls of mussels in an over creamed sauce...one of which was sent back due to its lack of actual mussels...later I was told by a member of staff that it was 'the luck of the draw'. As I said...disappointing.
