UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU BUY GLASSES AT TESCO OPTICIAN, GO TO A PROPER HIGH STREET OPTICIAN. HAD EYE TEST IN TESCO, HAD GLASSES MADE UP TO THIS PRESCRIPTION IN TESCO AND COULDN'T SEE PROPERLY WITH THEM. FELT DIZZY AND NAUSEOUS WHEN WEARING GLASSES DUE TO PRESCRIPTION BEING WRONG. THEY WILL NOT REFUND MONEY, THEY REFUSE TO LET ME SPEAK TO MANAGER, I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THEIR COMPETENCY. I WANT REFUND NOT ANOTHER BOTCHED ATTEMPT AT PROVIDING GLASSES THAT I CANT USE.

Hi there, it's unfortunate that you have been left so very unhappy with your experience at Tesco Opticians. As a Practice Manager myself and spectacle wearer I fully understand the frustration of not feeling at ease with a new pair of specs. If you are unhappy with your new prescription spec's and the sight test was conducted at Tesco then you need to ask for the name of the Opticians Manager and arrange a convenient time to sit down and calmly discuss what you are experienceing.
<br/>The Manager will then check your spectacles have been made correctly to the specification requested by both the Optometrist and Dispenser. If they are not as per request they will be re-made asap, if they are correct to the sight test results and the lens measurements are correct you can request a re-test which I am sure the Manager will be happy to oblige.
<br/>All Tesco Opticians have a Manager. It is this person you will need to contact. The Tesco Opticians department is a specialist area and therefore no other Tesco Manager will be able to assist you.

since you are a Tesco Optical Manager can you please kindly read my review here, No.51, and explain why the Optometrist did not conduct the first part of the tests himself. Are Tesco using unqualified staff to undertake those tests? other posts here mention this same problem and it is very worrying.
