This microphone is excellent for recording interviews and music performances. It is a device optimized to hendheld recorders, don't try to use it as part of stage sound system. The 'viewing' angle is adjustable in two steps, from 90 to 120 degrees. It is rather omnidirectional in terms of picking up the surround noises. That is good if you want to reflect the audio atmosphere of the site you work at. Signal level is low enough to allow live, powered concerts to be recorded without distortion, and it is noiseless enough to fairly capture silent programs too.
