Good Points
Small compact, Full of functionality!

Bad Points
Somewhat diffcult to get details of serial cable type.
After accident with original. Also can't find any manuals or guides.

General Comments
I have owned a Ricoh RDC-7 digital camera for approx a year, Which in that time have found absolutely nothing to moan about!

The picture quality is second to none, I can't fault it's performance in any way. Some seem to gripe about the video (.avi) formatting, yet is somewhat superior in playback functionality when using this format. So I believe!

Great having both serial and USB uploading capability.

In Short:- If you're considering buying an RDC-7, Go on!

The AVI 'problem' is simple -- shove 'Ricoh RDC7 codec' into Google and your problem is solved immediately.

<br>How come you don't use a card reader to get your pictures off? It's so much faster. Admittedly you can't get the Internal memory off that way, but you just copy it to the card first ;)
