The Avondale Perle Corfu is a lovely four berth family caravan, its practical and spacious it has most mod cons such as hot, and cold water, shower, 12v, and 240v electrical system, on-board water tank, plenty of cupboards for storage which is ideal for a family of four.
It has an end washroom with change area, set of wardobes, and drawers, a seperate toilet and shower, a side dining area with two seats (these make up the side bed) it also has a fold away bed with side bar and a set of steps to make the bunk beds up.
It has two large seats at the front, it comes with a three ring hob, grill, nearly a full size fridge with freezer compartment.
It has a pull across fly screen which slides across the doorway, fly screens on the windows, and blackout roller blinds are all standard, as well as double glazed windows, and velvet curtains.
Best of all its quite light in weight with a maximum laden weight of 1100kg which is within most 2.0 litre family sized cars with a weight ratio 85% of the tow cars kerbweight.
The only downside is that you don't get a fire, or cooker as standard...we had a fire installed as an extra when we bought the van. In 2001 we purchased the van and it was up for £6995...but we has a caravan to part-ex and we only paid £4995 for it...so its within most families budget.
We currently tow this caravan with a Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi on an '03' plate.
I hope this review helps families who are new to caravaning holidays, or to families looking to upgrade from there current van.
Happy caravaning.

Hi there, have just bought a 1997 avondale perle corfu but it's come without a handbook. Was just wondering if you could help us as we can't find the water filter anywhere, on our last caravan it was next to where you put the water pump but I can't find it on this van. Any ideas?
