We stayed in the China Suite of the Edward II Inn for two nights. It was street level, and the windows looked out to a wall. The room left A LOT to be desired. The walls and carpet were old and dirty. The comforter looked like it had been spot cleaned only, and there was a large stain. Everything looked dirty, I was very uncomfortable and wore my shoes at all times. When we ran water in the jaccuzi tub hair came up from the drain. We opted for a shower, but the tub filled with water to above our ankles. Draino anyone? The fireplace is a plug-in unit. The service was ok, the continental breakfast was minimal, there wasn't enough room for us to eat, so we were directed to the pub. The pub is NOT a pub, it's a small bar area with a few bar stools. It wasn't open during our stay, which was on a weekend. Our room was way over-priced, I would never stay there again. The only Pros' were the neighborhood is nice and has a lot of nightlife. The room got a lot of good light as well.
