Pacific Terrace Hotel, San Diego Review

We stayed at the Pacific Terrace Hotel in June 2009. We stayed there for three nights. It is a great location right on the beach and looked to be one of the better hotels in Pacific Beach, which is mostly a studenty type area. If you are looking for somewhere plush, try La Jolla or downtown San Diego - but this place was great for access to Pacific Beach (or PB as the locals call it). There is no restaurant and there is a small swimming pool, with glass walls to protect it from the wind. We were upgraded to a suite, which was huge with a kitchenette. However the rooms were quite dark and some of them were a little musty. I had a great time there and the staff were really helpful, however the hotel wasn't exactly cheap - if i went back - and i could afford it, i think i might move to the very new and slick looking tower 23 just down the beach.
