Good Points
Good food, good location (Harry's Bar and The Hop are barely staggering distance away!), good deals if you can get there for the right time.
Bad Points
Easily missed as it could be mistaken for just a bar on the ground floor of a hotel. Also just off the main road, so no obvious to find
General Comments
This place is something of a surprise. Despite its looks and its name, it turns out this is a pretty good Italian restaurant. It's well located, just round the ocrner from the theatre off Westgate. They do decent earlybird and lunchtime offers which vary between days and times, though they usually involve a 2 courses for the price of one or two meals for one which work out to be real bargains if you can take advantage of them.
The pizzas are good, and they do a good range of meat and fish main dishes (Chicken cacciatore was good). I didn't try the pasta, but it does look good.
I also had no compliants at the service either.
I'd recommend Sloanes Restaurant, Wakefield.
